Firstly, the decor and furniture arrangement inside this place is so good - we loved the graffiti vibes, the neon signs, the pool table and the semi-private booth. The chef/waiter that served us seemed relaxed and friendly, and we had a little conversation after he bought over our drinks. The vegan food absolutely set the bar - we ordered the double no-meat burger and one of the no-chicken and they came stacked with filling and sauces! It felt like they were made to impress and they certainly did. The sweet potato fries on the side came drizzled in a delicious sweet and spicy maple syrup sauce that was absolutely divine! We didn't try any desserts because the main dishes filled us up so well. Yes, it's expensive, but it's today's prices, and you're paying for the overall experience as well as the good food and drinks. We'll return again at some point when we're back in town! The food was amazing and fast. Service in general was good! We were greated by a blond girl and with a smile thats showed us our table, took our drinks and food order. Heads up for the other girl Shopie that treated us amazingly throughout always with a smile. Both girls did amazing. I ll definitely be back. Food was to cry for more! Worth every cent!

10/10 for the good hood southport. I will most definitely be back. The food was amazing I had the chicken and halummi burger, with sweet potato fries which had a lovely glaze on them. My partner had the laid back beef burger with the casun fries and not a drop was left! Our server was a lovely blonde girl (I didn’t catch her name) but she was great she knew all about the menu, quick serve to. She recommended me a moctail called the ‘lip smacker’ and WOW it was to die for I will definitely be going back to the good hood. Great addition to southport. Thank you good hood team for making our experience so great

We stopped in at this place on a whim and we were thrilled with our experience. Three adults and 2 toddlers. Plenty of space, fun environment, yummy food and excellent service. We felt welcomed and comfortable with active kids and all their stuff. Clever, fun and diverse menu. Sophie, our server was absolutely delightful as was the guy who hosted. I can't recall his name, very attentive but not too much so. We had appetizers and burgers. They were cooked perfectly, presented nicely and plenty enough to take home for a snack. The adult beverages were on point. Well worth the reasonable price. Wonderful experience in every way, definitely recommend.

The food is so good! Chicken burger was amazing, my sister said it was the best burger she's ever had. The staff were so friendly and kept checking on us. Sophie was especially great, full of energy! The Inside decor is so cool. Would 100% recommend!

6th time we've visited, the service is always excellent and the food is amazing. On this occasion Sophie was running the bar, restaurant and taking drinks and food to all the tables, all on her own! She was so upbeat, and created a fun and relaxed atmosphere for everyone. She's brilliant! The food was brilliant again, me and my partner are Vegan and we've always had great food, with the homemade patties being a particular favourite. The drinks are also brilliant, my partner had a Cherry Margarita, and a Passion Fruit Margarita - both excellent! And you can't go wrong with the Brooklyn beers!! Will definitely be coming back, and recommending to everyone.

We dropped in here on a whim whilst thinking of somewhere we could go to eat, and I'm really glad we did. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. The staff were very friendly - Sophie and Mike couldn't have been more helpful, they really made us feel welcome (talk about going above and beyond). We will definitely try and go again.

I honestly couldn’t give a review that actually does this place justice. Even taking pictures wouldn’t make this place pop as much as it does. You would have to go and experience it for yourselves. The waitress/bar woman Sophie is extremely polite, friendly, welcoming and professional. She made us feel very comfortable and made us some of the best cocktails I have ever tasted. The chef really knocked my socks off with such simple dishes but so much flavour, cooked very well, even catered to a request to change a dish slightly that wasn’t on the menu. Seriously this place is a must to try. With free darts and a pool table, it’s a place you can come and have a good meal and a laugh at the same time.
